Jurisdiction of the RTC

Reports from COMELEC lawyers who attended today’s hearing indicate that the lawyers of former President Arroyo have already accepted that the Pasay CIty RTC has jurisdiction over the case. Hopefully that settles the question. Also, hearings on the various motions pending before the court will be heard on Friday. The COMELEC has also been directed to comment on the former President’s motion for hospital arrest.
