Nowadays, opening up social media is tough. There’s just no escaping the million and one reasons to be worried, or scared, or sad, or angry, or desperate; just as there’s no escaping the people who try to shame you for not wanting to be worried, scared, sad, angry, or desperate. Nowadays, social media can be really, viscerally painful just to be on.
