Eat at Chili’s and you have to get at least a cup of their, well, chili.
Personal Favorite: those tiny burgers they call Big Mouth Bites, grilled medium-well with a bit of charring around the edges of the patty. I pair those babies with a serving of sauteed mushrooms, and I’m all set. With a bottomless mug of root beer, all that comes out to around 1,500. Sure it’s kinda steep, but there are other things about Chili’s that makes it worth while.
Wi-fi: Free, of course, and with better than decent signal strength.
The crowd: Almost every night, the crowd is pretty young. People tend to come to Chili’s in groups, so it’s inevitable that the decibels get cranked up a bit.
Service: Friendly, but on packed nights, it might take a while to get their attention.
Parking: Varies depending on the location, I suppose. In Morato, they have very limited parking space right next to the restaurant. In Greenhills, well, street parking is the norm anyway.
Smoking area: Yes. Nice, large, and air-conditioned. No chance of anyone crinkling their noses or loudly fanning their faces when you pull out your cigs.
Toilets: Situated well away from the dining area, the toilets are nice and clean.
OVER-ALL: Casual dining doesn’t get much finer than this. And with a vibe that’s definitely collegiate, if you’re with a bunch of other people, then so much the better.
