Reports of the COMELEC’s disarray have been exaggerated. That was essentially the message delivered – rather bluntly if I’m being very honest about it – by the Commission en banc today, when all seven commissioners trooped out onto the Session Hall and gave the lie to speculation that the COMELEC was falling apart from discord, disagreement, dissent … basically dis and dat.
And not a moment too soon.
