There shall be satellite registration of detainees in detention centers, with the following guidelines:
Number of qualified Applicants / Number of days
- Less than 250 /1 day
- Less than 500 / 2
- Less than 750 / 3
- Less than 1,000 / 4
- 1,000 or more / 5
In accordance with this rule, there shall be satellite registration in detention centers with even less than 10 qualified applicants. Further, in cities comprised of two or more districts, satellite registration shall be conducted by ALL COMELEC districts within the city, regardless of the fact that the detention center is located in one district only.
Furthermore, in capital towns where there are provincial, city, or municipal jails ad sub-jails, separate satellite registrations shall be held.
